The Chicken is a Foot!

A couple of weeks ago, I went down to FL to pick Diana up from her internship. On our way home we decided to stop off in Nashville to say hello to a couple of our favorite people in the world: The Burt Family, the Frech Family, and the Lynn Family.

While we were in Nashville, our friend Jeremy Lynn got baptised. I cannot express how happy and excited I was to be apart of that moment. Jeremy is a good man, and I am grateful that he loves my friend, Chelsea. Chelsea is like a sister to me, and I love her MORE than a fat kid loves cake. Which is a lot for all of you people of a normal stature. We don't see each other nearly enough, but she is always in my prayers and thoughts! I love you girl! Chelsea and Jeremy also have a little girl named Myzzie who STOLE my heart. She is the cutest thing! Soon to be two years old...this Saturday. So, shout out to my girl MYZZIE on her birthday! Go get 'em girl!

Oh, the South. Good food. Good people. On the last night of our stay, the Lynns, Diana, Nathan, my dad, and I went out to dinner. Where did we eat you ask? The answer to that question is Logans. If you have never been to Logans, I suggest that you go. It is your classic stake house; however, Logans supplies you with a never ending supply of PEANUTS. Where do you put the shells my friends? ON THE FLOOR! The peanuts become apart of the ambiance of the restaurant. For those of you that think that is gross....don't knock it 'till you try it. Throwing peanuts around = a good time if you ask me.

While we were in Nashville, we also saw the Frech family. Again, these are people that are basically apart of my family. While we were with them we ate at a place called Noshvilles; which was hilarious because it was a NY themed diner. We were bringing a little piece of home....home.
Now, for the title of this entry.....have you ever played Chicken Foot? It is a dominoes game of an epic nature. We played it one cold and quite night at the Frech's house, and from then on it was a classic game for our families. I won't explain the game here in hopes that you will go and look up the rules yourself. My dad still remains king of the game, but someday he will be dethroned. ~Hopefully by yours truly.
