They Say It's My Birthday....and Oh, Boy was it My Birthday!

Once upon a time, I turned a quarter of a century old, and my sister graduated from college and her internship. Now, where was her internship you ask? It was at Walt Disney World. So, for my birthday I got to go around all of the Disney parks for FREE. How fantastic is that? It pretty much rocked my world. I have never been to anything Disney, and I must tell you that I loved it. I loved all of the details that Disney put into everything. It truly was a THEME park, and everything was themed to a T.

Going to Disney World with Diana was also an experience in itself. Diana worked at Disney for 9 months; so, she now knows EVERYTHING about Disney. If you have any questions just ask her. Not only did I have fun going around the parks...but I was educated as well. It was a great way to spend my birthday!

Diana was the queen of Space Mountain. She spent a lot of nights there. Please guests, be nice to the cast members. They have to deal with CRAZIES all day!

When the Tower of Terror was being built, the designers called my dad as a consult. They wanted to know what a real elevator would do. If you ever want to be "back doored" on this ride, just call my dad!

Diana took me out for a great birthday dinner. This is my birthday cake....a.k.a apple cobbler. When the cake was brought out about 9 people from the kitchen started ringing bells and singing to me. Normally, this kind of thing makes me cringe...but I survived. There was a little girl sitting behind Diana that kept clapping and telling me, "Happy Birthday!" She was SO cute! Totally made the bells worth it.

We stayed at Disney's All Star Music Resort; therefore, there was a huge plastic guitar in front of our building. Doesn't it make you giggle inside just a little?

On our tour in Fl, we also went to Universal Studios. Which means that we went to HARRY POTTER WORLD! I must say that it was pretty sweet. I think that it needs to be a park unto itself and not just an attraction at Universal, but it was very well done. The details were all there. When we went it was so crowded with people that it was hard to move...but it was worth it.

They had Ollivanders, the twins joke shop, Haggrid's hut, Hogwarts, the Goblet of Fire, Butterbeer, and anything else you could want Harry Potter.

As we were going around Disney, I kept seeing people with turkey legs....and whenever I think of turkey legs, I think of my brother Jason. He is known as "The Turkey Leg" in my family. When my mother went into labor with Jason the family was at a county fair, and my dad had just gone around and gotten everyone the specific food that they wanted. (Saving himself for last of course.) When my dad got back with his turkey leg, my mom told him that they had to leave and go to the hospital. She normally delivers really quickly, and her water had broken. Sadly, my dad threw away his turkey leg with one bite taken out of it to flag down a policeman for a ride to our car. Therefore, Jason is my dad's turkey leg.
I had a great time at Disney thanks to Diana, and I would recommend the experience for any age! Then again, I am like a 5 year old when it comes to this kind of thing..... so my opinion might not be viable.
