A lot has happened in the Cotter house hold, and yet again....I have been lax about my blogging. To be honest, I was waiting to transfer all of my photos from my phone to my blog. You know the whole have a picture to go with each post thing. I have been trying to document our first year of marriage, but I always forget my camera; so, I just used my phone. My phone died a couple of weeks ago and we had to get it replaced. I lost the first seven months of our marriage...in pictures that is. SO LAME! I was not happy. Anyway, that's what I get for putting off blogging. So, I better just write as things come. I learned my lesson.
Moving right along, this is Tim and I's first Halloween together...as a couple that is. Obviously we have known each other for a long time so we have gone to the same Halloween parties, but never as each others date. Tonight was our ward Halloween party, and it was Tim and I's Halloween. (Tim has to work on Halloween night) Anyway, it was a really fun party. We had a chili cook-off, apple bobbing (all of the kids liked to play in the water), jello dropping (Couples dropped jello worms into each others mouths), a mummy wrap, a costume contest, and of course trunk or treating.
(This is Ellie. She is one of the cutest little girls in our ward.)
(This is the beetle decorated. You can't really get the full effect from the picture, but it was
fun. Dollar store special my friends.)
(This is the mummy wrap. This cute couple was wearing matching onesies. Tim said he would be asleep in the corner if he were wearing one of them!)
(This is us after the party. Tim was a Jets fan (GO GIANTS!) and I was a soul singer.)
The chili was delicious, and the costumes were creative. It was the fastest trunk or treating I have ever witnessed. Tim and I decorated the beetle with black lights, spider webs, ghosts, and a haunted house. We gave out candy, and it felt like the trunk or treating was over in less than ten minutes. Although, I guess it was better that way. Tim and I still have candy for me to give out on Wednesday. It was a lot of fun. Thank you to everyone that put it together.
